Logan's Top Favorite Episodes

#1: The Pilot

This is the episode that started it all, and it is that reason that keeps it in the top spot on my list.

I knew the minute the Pilot aired that this was a show I was going to enjoy, and so far I've been correct. I really don't think theres much to say about this episode. I'm sure we all have a certain fondness for it, and think about certain moments from it often. I have to say one of my favorite moments is Angela flashing the guy at the airline counter. It was a great attention getting way to open the show, and certainly told us alot about our favorite artist.

This is an episode that I have and will watch many times. It never gets old, and I don't think it ever will.

Crystal's Favorite Episodes: #1

Friday, May 9th, 2008
#1: The Mummy in the Maze

This is by far my favorite episode. While it doesn't deal too much with the actual mythos of the show, or any overall storylines, it does bring in ties from earlier episodes. In this episode, the season 3 Halloween episode, we learn that Brennan is afraid of snakes, and Booth is afraid of clowns (which ties into 'The Gator in the Girl', one of Logan's favorites. Personally, I love how Brennan points out that Christianity is a fairly young religion. We also meet 'Amber Kippler', played by actress Azura Skye (who has been in episodes of “Buffy”, “Smallville” and other shows I enjoy. She reveals that Angela changed her name when she was 18 because it came to her in a dream. She also makes the discovery of exactly where Angela's husband Grayson is (No-Name Key). It's a terrific episode, where Zack dresses up as the back end of a cow (and the infamous Naomi from Paleontology is the front), Hodgins is the ill-fated Captain Smith of the Titanic, Angela is Cher, Cam is Cat Woman, Booth is first a Squint, then Clark Kent, and Bones is Wonder Woman (who is way better than Cat Woman). By the way, the accurate spelling of Grayson's nickname is: Birimbau

Quotes:

Pastor     Well, abandoning the path of righteousness is horrific, Dr. Brennan.  This is our way of remaking a pagan holiday, Halloween, into a positive celebration of Christian values. (to girl) )  Excellent prostitute, Stephanie.

Amber (CONT'D)       …force him to sign them?

                                          Hodgins

If necessary, do you have a gun?

                                          Angela

Or just remind him of who I am and ask him politely.

                                          Hodgins

                          What are you? Canadian?

Booth            Yeah, okay. Clown, scary. Not you.

AMBER        Here's what Mr. Barasa said 100% verbatim, word for word.

                                          HODGINS

                          Verbatim means word for word.

                                          AMBER

                          What?

                                          HODGINS

You sort of said it twice.

BOOTH            You know what?  You're a horse's ass.

                                          ZACK

Cow. I'm a cow. See my udder.

Coming soon from the two of us: Honorable Mentions

Logan's Top Favorite Episodes

#2: The Man in the Cell

What can I say about this episode? It was amazing, we wrapped up one serial killer and received some major character development for almost every character. I really think this episode allowed more fans to rally behind Cam as well. Don't try to deny it. We all know that a lot of Bones fans were not fond of Cam due to her relationship with Booth. But even I saw that the two characters had chemistry and some really adorable moments. With Cam being poisoned I think it really gave some room for the fans to pull for her, and not just because this episode marked the end of their relationship. If you think about it something happened to almost every person on the team (except for Hodgins). Angela had a heart sent to her, Cam was poisoned, Zack was blown up, Booth's son was approached by Howard, and Howard basically came after Brennan. It was a very jam packed episode, and it wasn't rushed at all.

It also set the stage for one of my other favorite episodes “The Girl in the Gator”.

All in all this episode is one that I can enjoy over and over again!
